Run the Curriculum - Six Weeks

Your facilitator leads each session using the guide provided. Sessions run 60 to 75 minutes. Your facilitator's job is to press play, guide the discussion, and be present. The curriculum does the heavy lifting.

Submit Your Completion Report

Within 30 days of your final session, submit a brief completion report letting us know how many couples participated and any general feedback from the group. This helps us improve the curriculum and support future church partners.

Couples who want to keep growing are welcomed into the Family Freedom Academy - a monthly community where the conversation continues. This is entirely their choice and entirely their decision. There is no pressure, no enrollment requirement, and no obligation for the church or its members.

Why do participants register on the FFE platform rather than through the church?

Each participant registers directly on the Family Freedom Ecosystem platform for one simple reason: to receive their curriculum materials and video access. The free Zero to Hero digital resource, the participant workbooks, and the weekly video session links are all delivered through the FFE platform – and registration ensures every couple receives everything they need, on time, every week, without any administrative work for the church.

Registration is free, takes under two minutes, and gives every couple a direct line to the FFE team if they have questions about their materials. Most pastors tell us their couples appreciate having their own access rather than receiving materials secondhand through the church.

Is this truly free? Are there hidden costs or future obligations?

This curriculum is our contribution to the church – a genuine investment in the marriages and families you lead. There are no fees, no subscription costs, and no future financial obligations for the church or its members. The curriculum, facilitator guides, and participant workbooks are provided as our gift to every approved church partner. The only thing we ask is that participants register on our platform to receive their materials – which is provided at no cost to them as well. We believe in this curriculum’s ability to speak for itself.

Does my church have to be a certain size or denomination to apply?

Not at all. We partner with churches of all sizes – from congregations of 50 families to congregations of several thousand. We also partner across denominational lines. The only requirements are that the church is an active congregation led by an ordained pastor or ministry leader, and that the primary contact is committed to facilitating the curriculum with care and consistency.

What does my facilitator need to know or do to lead this curriculum?

Very little is required in terms of preparation. The facilitator guide walks your group leader through each session step by step. They do not need a counseling background, a theology degree, or extensive marriage ministry experience. They need a genuine heart for the couples in the room, the ability to follow a guide, and the willingness to press play and create space for honest conversation. We have had deacons, lay leaders, and first-time small group leaders facilitate this curriculum effectively.

Can we run this curriculum multiple times or with different groups

Yes. Once your church is an approved partner, you can run the curriculum with as many groups as you choose. Many of our partner churches run it twice a year – once for new couples in the fall and once for longer-married couples in the spring. The more couples you run through the curriculum, the greater the impact on your congregation’s overall family health.

What happens after the six weeks? Is there any pressure on our couples to join a paid program?

No pressure of any kind. At the conclusion of week six, couples receive a natural and gracious invitation to continue their journey in the Family Freedom Academy – a monthly membership community where the conversation continues year-round. This invitation is extended once, at the end of the program, and entirely at the couple’s own discretion. There is no follow-up pressure, no required next step, and no expectation placed on the church or its members. Some couples will want to continue. Many will not. Both responses are completely fine.

Will Bishop Mathews or the FFE team come to our church to lead the curriculum?

The 6-Week Marriage Reset is specifically designed to be led by your own facilitator – which is what makes it scalable across so many churches simultaneously. Bishop Mathews is available for speaking engagements and special church events through a separate invitation process.
